I used to love the Simpsons. I am not sure whether I will go see their movie in a theater, but I definitely love the avatar-creation feature on their website.

Taking shape

I want to lighten up the color and make it less orange and add a face and some strands of hair. But the body is almost finished. I made the arms and legs by twisting armature wire, wrapping them in wire mesh and then heat shrinking black tubing over that. Then I J-B Kwiked (can I use that as a verb?) them to the body. Tiedowns are attached to the legs with latex and the hands are latex as well.
I borrowed heavily from the Aardman design for their sheep legs.
